Potential... only time will tell

You're sticks are well drawn, but your animation needs a lot of work. Here are some suggestions:

Text: People have to read... orange text is not only difficult to read, but it is also small. If you're going to make it like that... people need more time to read it... it moves too fast as it is. I'm not saying make like five seconds per line, but just make it so that it's easily read. Try voice acting it if you want... it'll keep people from being bored.

Action: Was too face. It almost looked jumpy and rushed. I don't know what your frame rate is, but I'd suggest either dropping it or fleshing out the action scenes so it looks like it isn't just blink, blink... over. I felt unfulfilled.

Animation: impact will create friction and force... you may want to add little effects here and there for when people hit each other, when their feet strike the ground... ect. It adds more to the effort of the animation and also creates some realism.

Not bad for a first attempt.

thanks .

It's impressive sprites...

The sprites look custom made, and they are well done. I'm very impressed with those. the flash animatin on the other hand is a little bit choppy. Your backgrounds jump as they move, which is an eye sore... you may want to either increase the frame rate, or slow speed up how fast they move... something to make it not appear jerked and rushed.

Also you have prolonged pause in one section which is ok for dialouge moments, but the sprites should move a little just to keep the visuals from getting stale.

Those are my suggestions and I will definitely be on the watch for your upcoming flash movies.

yeah, i was going to narrate it so that is why the gap was so long. Thanks for the suggestions Il change it now.

Everything works together to make clean animation

This is a beautiful fight scene. The animation well colored, I love the personal touch you put into the art, and I enjoyed all of it. I thought the music went hand in hand with the coreography, and the addition of the HP meter was a nice touch. Good vision, and good animation are what this score is based upon.

I did detract points, however, because of the shoddy grammar. I had a hard time with the opening because it looked as if you had ignored proofreading altogether. While I know this has little to do with that actual animation, what you have to understand is that people see this before they press the play button... it is the first impression you give them and while the menu is stylish... the grammar is lacking. It detracts and thus... the score reflects.

All in all, everthing else was beautifull and pristine!

Good for sprite animation

I would have loved to give this movie a better score, because the action was well coreographed.... however, the music is annoying and hurts your ears. Not only that, but you don't end the movie. It just keeps looping... and looping... and looping. I refreshed the screen to see if perhaps I had a glitch, but no such luck. It needs some work, because as it is right now... too short, no explanation... and it's annoying to listen to.

I would recommend finishing the fight scene rather than having it loop again after the "quasi final flash" attack that looks and promises to be pretty. I would change the music to something a little less... abrasive to the audience's auditory nerves. Finally I would possibly do voice overs for the characters... you never know, it could make the animation seem more personable.

As it is right now? The animation is sub-par.

Puush responds:
