I disagree, I think your music is for the masses
if its good then everyone benefits
but to be completely honest, artists in the audio portal receive little to no recognition from anyone, except a small group of people, which is generally the artist's friends
so in a way, the music you make and submit to Newgrounds will be for the people you want to hear it, a handful of other people and I

I have a tuning hammer but I don't have a piano so I feel very silly

LOL! I wouldn't know the first thing about tuning a piano. I hire a person to come in and tune it, just because the piano is so expensive I wouldn't risk touching it. It' one of the few things of my mother's that I have left... and she loved listening to me play on it. Sigh... I may record something and post it up. I'm thinking heavily about it.
