Sounds like you well and truly kicked that old hag into her oven and locked the foor behind her, well done :) And no matter what happens on Monday, you did the right thing in putting a patient's needs ahead of any bureaucracy, no wonder the nurses were proud of you :)
Thank you! (and I love the Hansel and Grettle allusion) I get so much flak from the secretaries and the practioners about how I schedule patients... I get called the bleeding heart, but I prefer putting patients above people's bigotry and laziness... and I think it makes people like the clinic more when we are there to HELP rather than to do what is easy for us. I'm glad someone else sees it my way.
