i'm glad i threw out the food i made a few nights ago...rubbery food that is normally crisp is a no no

and thanks, that was a nice read

I try to make my stories fun for the whole family! ^_^

Glad you enjoyed it... and funny thing: my leftovers tasted as they should have! I don't know what really caused it! (I never thought two day old leftovers would turn like that... but who knows?) Anyhow! I'm better but still leery of anything that isn't freshly cooked... you know the feeling? XD

Sheesh . . . that's just one hell of a bad evening, sorry to hear that :(

haha... we take what is given. For instance... I went and saw Public Enemies tonight... it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Johnny Depp was amazing, but the writing... subpar. I was expecting it to be a far more engaging movie than it was... and there was one scene where I kid you know, they shot over three hundred bullets and no one was hit--much less died. So boring.

What, really? Dang, I was looking forward to that, I think Depp and Bale are both great actors and Mann is a brilliant director, that's a real shame that it's let down by the writing. The scene with the 300 bullets and no-one dying sounds a bit like the A-Team with the humour, the flipping jeeps and the Mr T removed.

That scene could have used Mr. T... and perhaps a few other humorous moments... rather than a whole bunch of "Where is Dillinger?!" Bale's performance was pretty much the same as his performance in Terminator Salvation, but with a very bad accent, which is funny at times.

sometimes I wonder if I am immune to food based inflictions

I have only gotten sick once because of food, and that was when I was young

I was very sick for week, and then I was fine

since then I have eaten food that probably should have killed me, but did not

I often had to endure the poor cooking of my family when I was young

we were poor, but we did our best

I sometimes cook things that I think would kill a normal person... and then my friends eat it and they are all impressed. It's the curse of being an experimenting chef! You never know if something is going to taste good, and you don't know how long it will last without becoming toxic! XD

I still enjoy cooking! I don't think I'll ever be able to stop
